Penguin R.I.P.
2 months on and we all still miss Penguin. Every few days something will come up and my instant reaction is “I gotta tell Mark this!” only to be reminded yet again of the loss of a good friend.

Dead End Kings
Having only just released their first 5 track EP, these guys mix southern metal with groove in a way that makes you wanna drink yourself stupid and rock out. Always putting on a great show, if you were to pick only one Brisbane band who makes drunken groove music better than us, you’d have to pick Dead End Kings.
Kaleidoscope
From Gerrigong NSW, Kaleidoscope are tearing shit up! Just about every wesbite, blog, fanzine and radio show dedicated to stoner rock have lapped up this band and flogged their debut EP to death. All with good cause, they fucking rock.
The Stone Fox
If you haven’t figured it out by now, every band on this bill is about getting drunk and rocking the fuck out. If we ever do a national tour, it should definitely be with this band for no other reason then the fact that we can call it “The Stone Fox and The Stoned Fucks”
Crevis
Filling up the late spot is Crevis. It’s pretty hard to define this band as anything but doom. We figured that after we’re finished, we want to hear some kick-ass music while we’re getting drunk and we all love nothing more than hearing music with a dark, wall of sound… just the type of music this band plays.
